NCTCOG's Regional Training Center provides a variety of employee development training programs for government agencies and private industry companies located in the North Central Texas region. The mission of the Regional Training Center is to provide high quality and cost effective professional development opportunities to agencies in the North Central Texas Region.
The Regional Training Center offers courses at the NCTCOG offices in records management, media relations, GIS, customer service, teambuilding, grammar, pavement management, annexation, code enforcement, first aid, freeway incident management,
leadership, planning and zoning,
public funds investment, and storm water pollution. Several Franklin-Covey classes have recently been added. Through special arrangement with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the Training Center also offers wastewater, water, and utility operator training courses.
The Regional Training Center recently received approval as a registered test center and is now providing computer-based testing for occupational licensing.
