Energy Efficiency - American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009

The NCTCOG Environment & Development Department is helping cities and counties share information related to planned funding applications for Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program funds approved in the ARRA. On March 26, 2009, the U.S. Department of Energy announced that more than $2 million will be available for state, county and city efforts in Texas.

NCTCOG has begun by hosting a regular Energy Efficiency and Conservation Forum for eligible governments.
