State Energy Conservation Office (SECO) ASHRAE 90.1 - 2013 Training Workshop

What: SECO is hosting a training workshop on ASHRAE 90.1 - 2013, the building performance standard required for state-funded buidlings. This 6-hour workshop will cover ASHRAE 90.1 - 2013 Enregy Standard for Buildings Except Low-Rise Residential Buidlings. The workshop will be interactive and will include several in-class exercises with problems that participants can solve individually or in teams. The workshops are targeted at design professionals, code officials, and building owners.

2017 Building Officials Association of Texas (BOAT) Annual Conference

What: The 2017 BOAT Annual Conference offers two and half days of education and networking, including sessions on the Certified Building Official and Legal exam, professional development, elimination of architectural barriers, inspector skills, floodplain code compliance, re-roofing inspections, the International Pool and Spa Code, round tables, and open forums.

STEP Into the Sun: Solar Training for Design Professionals

What: This training is specially designed for architects and engineers by the Building Codes Assistance Project (BCAP) and the Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE) and sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Sunshot Initiative. It offers 6.5 AIA LU/HSW, 0.65 ICC Preferred Provider CEUs, and 6.5 GBCI CEUs.

When: August 31, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

2017 International Code Council Annual Conference

What: This year's conference features a combination of industry-leading educational sessions, special networking events, inspiring keynote speakers, historic building tours and the Building Safety & Design Expo.

North Texas Facilities/Managing Green Buildings Conference

What: North Texas Facilities Expo is a broad based facilities event with an emphasis on green buildings that features the latest products and services in the industry. North Texas Facilities Expo meets the facilities engineering, maintenance and energy managment needs of attendees from a wide variety of industries, including aerospace and defense manufacturing, education, government, healthcare, information technology services, telecommunications, transportation, and others. Dallas Builders Show

What: The Dallas Builders Show is an industry trade show that features the latest industry news and information, hundreds of industry professionals, and dozens of local exhibitors showcasing the latest products, materials, and technologies. The Dallas Builders Show also offers up-to-date and innovative education focusing on the most relevant topics for local residential construction professionals.

When: October 12, 2017 from 1 to 6 p.m.

NTAEE 2017 Energy Conference

What: The North Texas Association of Energy Engineers' (NTAEE) 2017 Energy Conference is a one-day event where energy engineers and facility managers from some of DFW's largest and best known companies will meet to learn about trends in high efficiency energy systems.  This year's theme is Renewable Energy.  Exhibitor booths will also be avaialble for learning about specific products in the energy field. What: The Texas Energy Summit - CATEE 2017 is a premiere education conference and business expo that provides attendees the opportunity to engage in a lively conversation about cleaner air, a better built environmnet, sustainability and a new energy economy.

SECO 2015 IECC Commercial and Residential Online Training

These online workshops focus on the newly adopted energy code for the state of Texas. These courses are designed to educate and train builders, code officials, architects and engineers on the 2015 International Energy Conservation Code. The courses highlight changes to the Commercial Energy and Residential Energy code and new energy code legislation and provide tools and strategies for compliance.
