2004 Grant Awardees - Two Counties and Eighteen Cities Receive Grant Funding
Two counties and eighteen cities in the North Central Texas region have been awarded Community Development Fund grants by the Office of Rural Community Affairs. The Community Development Fund provides grant funding to cities and counties for water, sewer, and housing projects that benefit low-income persons. Most incorporated cities with populations under 50,000 and counties with populations under 200,000 are eligible to apply. Applications for the 2003-2004 funding cycle were due in the fall of 2002. The next opportunity to apply for funding was in the fall of 2004.
