Funding Sources

Community Development Fund
Through the Community Development Fund, awards of up to $500,000 are available for projects that benefit at least 51% low/moderate income persons. Priority is given to projects that address water, sewer and housing needs in the region. Most incorporated cities with populations under 50,000 and counties with populations under 200,000 are eligible to apply.

In each fiscal year, 2005 and 2006, approximately $4.5 million in grant funding was allocated in the North Central Texas region.  Applications for 2007-2008 were due in the fall of 2006. Those who received funding in previous cycles are listed below.
