A survey conducted in the Upper Trinity Basin reveal that the 89% of North Texans still believe that industry is to blame for pollution in our waterways, while not recognizing the contribution of their own common, daily activies to increased water pollution. Local governments are required to educate the public about storm water pollution and the actions they can take to reduce or prevent storm water runoff pollution in their homes, communities and throughout the region.
