When it comes to envisioning an enjoyable Trinity River, local governments along the Trinity have big dreams - which are rapidly becoming reality. Plans include a 250-mile trail system, which will provide hiking, biking, equestrian, and nature trails extending from Dallas north to the Red River, southeast to Ellis County, and west to Lakes Benbrook and Eagle Mountain.
