Improving Energy Efficiency in North Central Texas - Partnerships, Financing, and Resources

Description:

The North Central Texas region is growing fast. With this growth, energy demands from residential, commercial, and industrial building projects will continue to grow as well. This workshop will highlight some of the on-going regional partnerships, financing mechanisms, and resources that local governments can use to reduce energy consumption in their community and their own facilities. Attendees will also hear about resources that the State Energy Conservation Office provides to make reporting on a local government's energy efficiency programs to meet Senate Bill 898 (82R) requirements. Presenters will cover topics such as the Fort Worth Better Buildings Challenge, Property Assessed Clean Energy, Energy Star Building Portfolio Manager, and how some of these programs can assist with reporting on air quality benefits.

This event is intended for local government energy managers (city, county, school district, special districts), local government facility magagers or building operators, energy conservation staff, and other local government staff responsible for energy effiicency related activities.
