The North Texas Integrated Warning Team (IWT) workshop brings together emergency managers, broadcast and print media, amateur radio network controllers, government and special district officials, and the National Weather Service with the goal of finding the best ways to communicate a consistent warning message during severe weather.

Topics discussed at IWT workshops have included outdoor warning sirens, public response to warning information, and post-event reviews of major severe weather outbreaks.
