The North Texas Communicators Working Group was established in 2003 by the name Regional Public Information Officers. Quarterly meetings provide opportunities for professionals in the Public Information, Communication, and Marketing fields to network and coordinate projects related to Emergency Management and Public Information. Projects currently in progress are the Virtual Joint Information Center and the Regional Emergency Public Information Plan.
