RISN subscribers can select a variety of tools to create a unique system that meets their own needs. The purpose of this page is to provide information for making decisions about which tools are appropriate.

RISN subscribers may choose to license the web services alone for their own development or pair them with one or more technical tools. The tools currently available for consideration are:

    RISN Viewer (formerly known as iCommunities)

    General Description
    Web-based mapping interface similar to Google and Bing Maps. Online interface comes with six basic services (aerial photography, boundaries, decennial Census data, contours, hydrology and transportation). Online interface can use icons, color schemes, and graphics unique to the subscriber. Subscribers can perform simple queries and have the ability to print, export, and email maps and reports.

    General Description
    On-demand custom reports based on under-defined polygons or user-specified radii
