General Description High-resolution digital aerial photography. Photographs are captured over multiple years and in both leaf-off and leaf-on conditions.
NCTCOG regional aerial photography is captured bi-annually through our cooperative aerial program. Program is a cost-sharing initiative which allows member entities and other interested parties to share the cost of the overall flight. More information about this cooperative purchase program is available on NCTCOG’s Digital Aerial Photography website.
2009 Aerial Photography: 6-inch resolution digital aerial photographs. Complete coverage of Collin, Dallas, Denton, Rockwall & Tarrant counties. Partial coverage of Ellis, Johnson, Kaufman and Parker counties. Available through RISN to aerial cooperative participants only.
2007 Aerial Photography: 6-inch resolution digital aerial photographs for all 16 counties in the NCTCOG region. Available to all RISN participants.

2009 National Agricultural Imagery Program (NAIP) Aerial Photography: 1-meter resolution digital aerial photographs for all 16 counties. NAIP photographs were flown by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) during the 2009 growing season. Imagery from this ongoing program is typically available to government agencies within one year of acquisition. Available to all RISN participants.
General Description Web-based mapping interface similar to Google and Bing Maps. Online interface comes with six basic services (aerial photography, boundaries, decennial Census data, contours, hydrology and transportation). Online interface can use icons, color schemes, and graphics unique to the subscriber. Subscribers can perform simple queries and have the ability to print, export, and email maps and reports.
