Research & Information Services Network (RISN) is a shared services approach to data collection, processing, and dissemination. The American Community Survey (ACS) is the replacement for the Census long form and provides demographic, socio-economic and housing characteristics on an annual basis.
As a service to data users, the Research & Information Services Department holds periodic meetings and workshops. The most recent workshop was conducted on January 19, 2012 by staff from the U.S. Census Bureau and NCTCOG and focused on the newest data and tools available from each. The following are presentations from the workshop.
