Notice: Because the primary pollutant for the Dallas-Fort Worth region is ozone, we have chosen to display specific charts, data, and images reflective of this pollutant’s measured concentrations. Therefore, the numbers included correspond specifically with ozone concentrations. They are not an indication of the overall Air Quality Index (AQI). For a more detailed explanation of AQI and it’s components, please refer to one of these Web sites: EPA AIRNow, National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS), or AQI as per TCEQOzone levels have been mapped to colors based on a projected eight-hour average calculated from the measured one-hour levels.
