 North Central Texas Clean School Bus Program
Call Closed June 22, 2007
Grants are available to school districts and school bus operators to reduce emissions from school bus fleets in the 16-county NCTCOG services area. Eligible activities may include vehicle replacement, engine repower, and engine/exhaust system retrofit. To be eligible for funding in the 2007 Call for Projects, entities must have adopted the Clean Fleet Vehicle Policy prior to June 22, 2007.
Projects are selected on a competitive basis with emissions reduction, cost-effectiveness, and timeframe of implementation being the predominant scoring criteria. Refer to the NCT Clean School Bus Guidelines for more information on eligibility requirements and project details.
