HDVEGP - Local Government Focus Area

The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) partnered with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to fund local government clean vehicle and equipment projects through the Heavy-Duty Vehicle and Equipment Grant Program (HDVEGP).  This funding is available to public entities located within the Dallas-Fort Worth nine-county ozone nonattainment area. The program seeks to reduce emissions from heavy-duty engines in the region and educate entities on available clean technologies and fuels.

The program was reopened February 14, 2011, to expend remaining funds. To view funds awarded, please visit the HDVEGP Home Page.

Eligible Project Types:
On-road, non-road, stationary equipment, and locomotive replacement, repower, and retrofit projects, as well as on-board idle-reduction projects
