The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) has a policy to award a fair share of contract opportunities to disadvantaged and historically underutilized business enterprises. NCTCOG has developed a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program specific to contracting opportunities through the Transportation Department which are funded through the U.S. Department of Transportation.
The DBE Program and Goals have been updated for Fiscal Year (FY) 2011 through FY 2013. The overall proposed goal is 25%. NCTCOG is accepting public comments on the program and proposed goal through September 8, 2010. The DBE Program and supporting documentation is provided below.
DBE firms who wish to be added to NCTCOG's DBE list can do so by completing and returning this form.
NCTCOG recognizes DBE certifications from the Texas Uniform Certification Program (TUCP). The certifying agency in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is the North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (NCTRCA). Firms interested in becoming a certified DBE firm should contact NCTRCA.
