The Aviation program area is engaged in the development of a Regional General Aviation and Heliport System Plan funded by the Federal Aviation Administration, implementation of Joint Land Use Study recommendations surrounding the Naval Air Station Fort Worth, Joint Reserve Base funded by the Department of Defense’s Office of Economic Adjustment, planning for surface access to regional aviation facilities, and an aviation curriculum development study for regional colleges and universities.
