implementation of Joint

Use
Study recommendations
surrounding
the Naval Air
Station Fort Worth, Joint
Reserve
Base funded by the Department of Defense
Office of
Economic
Adjustment; planning
for
surface access to regional aviation facilities;
and
an aviation
curriculum development study
for
regional colleges
and universities.
The Air Transportation Technical Advisory Committee (ATTAC) oversees the Regional General Aviation and Heliport System Plan and advises NCTCOG staff on regionally significant issues affecting
the general aviation and heliport system.
Aviation Facilities in North Central Texas
The 16-county region of North Central Texas
is home to a variety of public and private
aviation facilities. Of the more than 400
aviation facilities, 56 are public use
facilities, with 29 included in the FAA’s National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems
(NPIAS).

North Central Texas Airport Data System is an innovative tool to help facilitate regional aviation planning.
It hosts a variety of information about regional aviation facilities and is available for public and airport use.

aviation system. These materials are
designed to educate the general public
about the importance of general aviation
and provide information on related activities.
