The Travel Model Development program area is responsible for creation, maintenance and improvements to the Dallas-Fort Worth Regional Travel Model (DFWRTM). This program area also supports the use of DFWRTM by local governments by providing software, documentation and limited training. The Model Development Group is in the process of developing a work plan to support the use of traffic micro-simulation for project-specific and sub-area analyses that are covered by the DFWRTM.
