Upcoming Events and Timeline: Regional Toll Revenue Funding Initiative

Reaching an agreement for S.H. 121 was a collaborative process involving the RTC, TxDOT and NTTA. Upcoming RTR funding initiatives will follow a similar process and involve coordination among RTC members, elected officials, transportation partners and the public to select projects to receive funding.

Project Selection Process

Much of the project selection discussion occurs in County Task Force and public meetings. Once consensus is reached, project recommendations are presented to the Regional Transportation Council for approval.
