Streamlined Project Delivery - Cotton Belt Corridor |
The Streamlined Project Delivery Team is a new program at NCTCOG designed specifically to move projects to completion more quickly. The Team is dedicated to moving the Rail North Texas component projects through the planning and project development phases into construction as efficiently as possible.
As the region faces scarce funding and increasing transportation needs, DART and The T requested the Regiona Transportation Council lead efforts to develop an innovative financial plan to construct, operate and maintain passenger rail service along the Cotton Belt Corridor. DART and The T will continue to lead environmental and engineering work. All agencies will determine the viability and feasibility of the innovative financial plan expected by early next year.
