Fort Worth - Trinity Bluff

Trinity Bluff is a walkable, mixed-use development being built by Lincoln Properties on several blocks along Samuels Avenue overlooking the Trinity River just northeast of Downtown Fort Worth. The development includes approximately 1,055 residential units and 15,000 sq. ft. of retail space.

Under the 2005-2006 Sustainable Development Call for Projects, NCTCOG funded $1,050,900 with a local match from the City of Fort Worth for pedestrian improvements along newly constructed streets in the district.

The pedestrian improvements went in with rerouting and upgrading Bluffs Street and Samuels Avenue to accommodate the change from light industrial and
single-family housing to a lively urban neighborhood.

Trinity Bluff Neighborhood

Trinity Bluffs Development

Lincoln’s Trinity Bluff development will be the anchor to growing mixed-use development on the northwest side
of downtown. Tarrant County College completed its new $203 million, 130,000 sq. ft. downtown campus on the Trinity Bluff, two blocks west of the development on Belknap St., in 2009. The City’s Modern Streetcar Plan calls for a modern streetcar line connecting the Trinity Bluff neighborhood to downtown, and Texas & Pacific commuter rail station.

The Trinity River Vision includes a major flood project that will remove the levees on the north side of the Trinity, and add a new lake north of downtown. This plan will open a large area north of the river to development.
