Project Summary
In coordination with local governments and community input, NCTCOG is developing a multimodal transportation plan for Hunt County. The county plan will incorporate several studies and planning projects:
- Public Transit Feasibility Study
- Trail and Bike Master Plan
- Hunt County Master Thoroughfare Plan
- Rail Transportation Study
- SH 34 Corridor Study
The final result will be a comprehensive county plan that addresses transportation challenges and opportunities.
The Hunt County Transportation Committee will lead efforts and seek significant input from elected officials, city and county staff, business leaders and the public. |

How you can help:
Good planning depends on good data. NCTCOG is seeking any information related to growth and development trends in Hunt County, for example: previous city/county plans, city/county bond program information, roadway inventories, maps, school district plans, emergency routing, traffic counts, demographic projections, land use, mailing lists, ongoing studies, etc.
Comments about specific transportation needs or areas of concern will also be helpful.
