The North Central Texas Workforce Board provides funding for persons training under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) for certain targeted occupations. The WIA Targeted Occupations List is a regional blueprint for selecting occupational training programs and providers that will allow participants to train for careers that are among the highest in demand in the North Central Texas region. This analysis is made annually in terms of viable need, demand, growth and potential income made.
If you are interested in pursuing one of these careers, please visit a Workforce Center so that a staff member may assist you.
