A Matter of Balance (AMOB) has been specifically designed to help people aged 60 and over reduce their fear of falling and reduce their risk of falling.  Workshops are conducted as a series of two-hour class sessions, held either once a week for eight consecutive weeks or twice a week for four consecutive weeks.

Volunteer coaches must complete at least eight hours of classroom training and be observed by a master trainer before becoming certified. Training may be offered in person and virtually.  Once certified, Volunteers Coaches are paired with another coach to lead A Matter of Balance workshops.
