19th Annual Public Works Roundup

Description:

The North Central Texas Council of Governments' Public Works Council (PWC) is hosting the 19th Annual Public Works Roundup on May 23, 2018 at the Grapevine Convention Center in Grapevine, TX. The Roundup is a day-long event that draws public works professionals from across the region to communicate and coordinate on regional public works issues.

Agenda is pending, but tentative presentation topics include:

  • Construction Best Management Practices for Site Design
  • Master Drainage Planning
  • Safely Improving Traffic Flows
  • Asphalt Pavement: Management and Rehabilitation of Pavement
  • TWDB's Texas State Flood Plan Update
  • Addressing Erosion: Urban Stream Corridors
  • Work Zone Traffic Control and Planning
  • New Inspector Plan Review: Lessons Learned & Training Practices
  • integrated Stormwater Management (iSWM) - North Central Texas Work Scope Update
  • Senate Bill 1004 Small Cell Implementation in Local Governments
  • Low Impact Development (LID)/Green Infrastructure in North Texas
  • Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)/Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMPs)
