In TDI's new Do This Not That Series Workshop: Harassment Prevention in the Workplace for the Employees and Supervisors, will be educated on the federal and state anti-discrimination laws and prohibiting sexual harassment and other forms of unlawful harassment. Using hypothetical scenarios and real-life examples, employees learn to recognize conduct and circumstances that can give rise to a claim of unlawful workplace harassment including those which create a hostile work environment. In this Do This Not That Series Workshop participants also discuss the dangers of engaging in office relationships and the steps to take if one witnesses or experiences harassment at work.

Harassment in the workplace accounts for all levels of employee dissatisfaction, lowered retention rates, financial losses, and legal claims that can negatively impact your organization’s image and business opportunities. Proper education on the definition and prevention of unlawful harassment helps guarantee a positive workplace culture and high employee morale. This course provides training for all levels of personnel, including new Human Resources staff and is a great refresher course for Human Resources directors/managers. It introduces participants to harassment prevention law, the protected categories of workers, how to identify and stop unlawful harassment in the workplace, and outlines liabilities under the law.

In this course employees and supervisors will be put through scenarios that pertain to the scope of their job responsibilities and engage in great collaboration and discussion.
