Despite our best intentions, we don't always want or need the same things as those around us. While some people see conflict as a healthy part of reaching a mutually-accepted resolution, others find conflict uncomfortable. This 4-Hour course addresses practical skills for managing conflict and improving workplace relationships. You will focus on skills to utilize before, during and after the “difficult” interaction.  The skills of proactivity, stress techniques and effective listening are highlighted. Conflict case studies and sharing best practices will also be addressed.

After this course, you will be able to:

  • Diagnose conflict within your organization
  • Find the hidden agenda that’s really fueling the battle
  • Analyze your conflict response style
  • Encourage collaborative problem solving and gain consensus
  • Learn a variety of strategies for managing conflict
