Fort Worth - South Main Urban Village

The South Main Urban Village is a joint venture between the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, and NCTCOG to revitalize historic Main Street in Fort Worth. The project is located south of IH 30 on Main Street between Vickery Boulevard and Magnolia Street. The project includes the redevelopment of several historic structures such as the Amphibian Theater, Supreme Golf Mixed-Use Development, Miller Lofts, and Victory Medical Center. The project includes about 300 residential units, as well as office, retail and restaurant uses.

This project was funded through the 2009-2010 Sustainable Development Call for Projects. NCTCOG funded $3 million with a local match of $750,000 from the City of Fort Worth to construct landscaping, pedestrian amenities, traffic signals and retrofit the roadway for multimodal transportation options.
