Awarded Land Use Projects
NCTCOG, via the Regional Transportation Council (RTC), has awarded $1 Million for planning studies in each Sustainable Development Call for Projects through the 2001, 2006, and 2010 Sustainable Development Funding Program. The purpose of the program is to promote sustainable growth and development by planning for the implementation of land use and transportation integration, smart growth, and other sustainable development principles.
Studies range from infrastructure analysis, transit-oriented development station area planning, and market analysis, to urban design guidelines and planning for complete streets.
