Hudgins Street Corridor Roadway and Pedestrian Improvements - City of Grapevine

The pedestrian improvement project is located in the area where Historic Main Street Corridor and the Fairfield Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) is located. Located approximately 400 feet north of the planned Commuter Rail Station, the project also provides a connection to the City’s hike and bike trail system which is accessed by existing sidewalks. The Hudgins Street extension will support the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau with Historic Nash Farm.

The developments in the area supported by the Hudgins Street Corridor include nine units of townhomes, 10,400 sq. ft. of office space, 8,700 sq. ft. of retail space and 21,000 sq. ft. of amenities uses. The amenities in the area include a museum and display area and visitor information areas.

This project was funded through the 2009-2010 Sustainable Development Call for Projects. The City of Grapevine was provided $708,750 for right-of-way, engineering, street construction, pedestrian amenities, and landscaping.
