Addison Circle - Town of Addison

addison circleLocated in the Town of Addison, just north of IH 635 on the Dallas North Tollway, Addison Circle is a large, high-density, mixed-use development that has created an identity for the small suburb. The neighborhood occupies 124 acres that used to be the festival grounds for Addison’s Oktoberfest, before construction started in 1996.

The development is now home to approximately 1,700 housing units including apartments, condominiums, and townhouses, as well as 585,000 sq. ft. of office space and numerous shops and restaurants. The last phase of the development was finished when the 270-apartment Allegro was completed in 2009. Addison’s Oktoberfest and Taste of Addison are now held in an 18-acre park on the southern edge of Addison Circle. The core of the development is several high-rise buildings with apartments, office space, and ground floor retail, surrounding a small park
that first opened in 1999.

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART)’s 2030 Transit System Plan has a commuter rail line connecting the Red Line Light Rail in Richardson with the Green Line Light Rail in Carrollton and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport to the west through Addison Circle. The plan includes a stop on the south side of Addison Circle where a bus transfer station stands today.
