Powering Local Governments: Energy Benchmarking and Reporting Roundtable

On August 4th, 2026 the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) invited local governments, school districts, universities, special districts, and other public agencies to discuss energy benchmarking! Attendees were able to: 

• Share their municipalities experience with energy benchmarking, including barriers, success stories, and more.
• Brainstorm how energy benchmarking can be used in the future to save money and electricity consumption!
• Hear about resources to assist with benchmarking and the results of the Local Government Energy Reporting.
