Integrating Energy Resilience in Hazard Mitigation Planning

This roundtable with a panel of experts demonstrated how local governments can incorporate energy efficiency and energy resiliency into hazard mitigation planning. This roundtable introduced participants to a suite of options that go beyond standard diesel generators to build lasting energy resilience solutions as speakers touched on the role of updated codes and energy efficiency projects, microgrids, combined heat and power projects, alternative fuel vehicles, and provided real-world examples.
