Stakeholder Engagement

Engaging with stakeholders (cities, counties, towns; water providers; wastewater utilities; nonprofits; conservancies; transportation providers; developers; regional, federal, state agencies; universities, etc.) was an extremely important part of the TSI project. 

Engagement activities were structured to support both technical input and policy-level guidance, including establishing a Technical Advisory Group, convening a Steering Committee, conducting training workshops, preparing and distributing surveys, facilitating regional project update meetings, conducting site visits and conference presentations, and developing outreach materials and interactive visualization tools. 

A TSI Stakeholder Engagement Plan and a NCTCOG Community-Based Outreach Plan to support and serve as a guide for TSI study partners for planning, strategizing, implementing, and documenting stakeholder engagement activities in the TSI study area.
