The Water Utilities Safety course provides students with important information specific to confined spaces, proper personal protective equipment, and biological and chemical safety issues. Objectives

The objective of this course is for participants to understand how construction site temporary Best Management Practices (BMPs) operate, recognize deficiencies in erosion and sedimentation control plans and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SW3Ps), understand how to perform an efficient and effective site inspection for erosion and sediment control plans and SW3Ps, and recognize an improperly installed or maintained temporary BMP.
