Arlington, TEXAS – The North Central Texas Council of Governments invites the public to provide input on an update to the Regional 10-Year Plan as well as two funding initiatives related to transportation technologies, during a public meeting at noon on Monday, July 13.

The hybrid meeting will be held at the NCTCOG offices, 616 Six Flags Drive in Arlington. Those unable to attend in person can view the meeting online at PublicInput.com/nctcogJuly26. North Texans can also participate by calling 855-925-2801 and entering code 3241. Public comments will be accepted through Tuesday, August 11.

NCTCOG staff will present an update to the Regional 10‐Year Plan, which identifies major projects to be implemented in the region. A draft list covering projects from Fiscal Year 2027 to Fiscal Year 2036 will be presented for review and comment.

Additionally, staff will provide an update on the 2026 Technology Project Identification Call for Projects, which identifies innovative transportation technology projects that support safety, mobility and system efficiency. The presentation will summarize submitted project ideas, the scoring process, recommended projects and next steps.

Staff will also present the North Texas Advanced Air Mobility Charging Infrastructure Call for Projects. This initiative will provide funding to eligible public-use airports in the Dallas-Fort Worth region for electric aircraft charging infrastructure. Selected projects will help airports prepare for Electric Vehicle Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft, attract future operations and private investment and support demonstrations.

Modifications to the Fiscal Year 2026 and Fiscal Year 2027 Unified Planning Work Program; bicycle safety tips; Map Your Experience, an interactive mapping tool; and a list of the 2026-27 Regional Transportation Council officers will also be posted online for public review.

Residents planning to use transit to attend the meeting can take advantage of $6 round-trip rides from the CentrePort/DFW Airport Station to NCTCOG via the Arlington Transportation app, which can be downloaded at ArlingtonTX.gov/ondemand. For special accommodation related to disabilities or language interpretation, call 817-695-9109 or email kcadena@nctcog.org at least 72 hours prior to the meeting.
