The Regional Parking Database
The Regional Parking Demand Database includes observed data from sites across North Texas. It can be used to evaluate parking requirements for various land uses. Explore current data in the dashboard and see the "About" section below the dashboard to learn more or contribute data for your property.
About the Regional Parking Database
The Regional Parking Demand Database is an ongoing regional effort led by NCTCOG. The 2024 Summary report includes background and methods for the database.
The goal of the database is to increase local knowledge of observed parking demand and provide insights for efficient management and development codes. This data source was put together because often the decision on how much parking to build isn’t based on local studies but assumptions and small data samples. Insights into parking use and requirements from the database will be developed as an increasing number of sample sites are added. Local public and private stakeholders can continue to add to the database.
