This training course meets the requirements established by TCEQ for licensing in the Wastewater Industry in the State of Texas. The provider for the course is TCEQ-approved Hydrotex Training Services.

The Wastewater Collection course covers practical aspects of operating and maintaining a wastewater collection system. This course includes instruction in the importance of wastewater collection. During the course, participants learn the regulatory requirements of collection systems and collection system design parameters. Students also learn about the construction of a collection system, the use of lift stations, basic maintenance and operational procedures, industrial waste monitoring, collection system management and solving problems utilizing wastewater collection calculations.

Objectives

The objective of this course is to review wastewater operator certification, collection system design, construction, lift stations, sewer maintenance and operation, industrial waste monitoring and collection system management.
