North Texas Clean Air Steering Committee
The North Texas Clean Air Steering Committee (NTCASC) is the regional air quality advisory body for the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The NTCASC is comprised of 19 members, including local city and county officials, environmental interest representatives, chamber of commerce representatives, and public/citizen education representatives. The committee’s main goal is to work collaboratively in making recommendations to the State on what regional air quality control strategies should be implemented to reach attainment of the National Ambient Air Quality Standards. This committee focuses on controlling air pollution from all origins including on-road, non-road, area, and point sources.
