Regional Vanpool Program

The North Central Texas Regional Vanpool Program is operated by three transit agencies, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), Trinity Metro (formerly known as The T), and Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA). The vans used in the program are available at a low monthly cost to riders and can seat as many as 15 people.

The DART Vanpool service area comprises the counties of Collin, Dallas, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro, and Rockwall. DART vanpools originating in Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro, or Rockwall County must have a destination in Collin or Dallas.  DART vanpools originating in Collin or Dallas Counties may have a destination anywhere within the DFW region. The Trinity Metro service area comprises the counties of Johnson, Parker, and Tarrant. Trinity Metro vanpools originating in Johnson and Parker County must have a destination in Tarrant County. Trinity Metro vanpools originating in Tarrant County may have a destination anywhere within the DFW region. DCTA service area compromises the counties of Wise and Denton. DCTA vanpools originating in Denton County may have a destination within the DFW region.
