2027 - 2030 Transportation Improvement Program
Within metropolitan areas across the country, regional
transportation projects are tracked through Transportation Improvement Programs. The Transportation Improvement Program, or TIP, is a staged, multi-year program of projects approved for funding by federal, state, and local sources within the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area.
Every two years, the North Central Texas Council of Governments, in cooperation with Texas Department of Transportation, local governments, and transportation agencies, develops a new TIP.
The 2027-2030 TIP is under development. For more information, please reference the March 25, 2025 presentation to the Surface Transportation Technical Committee.
