As a result, we have prioritized refining existing tools while also introducing new enhancements. Meanwhile, ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5, available on both Windows and Linux, is a long-term support release that brings a host of new features and sets the stage for the next generation of ArcGIS Enterprise. | Our presentation begins by introducing TRA’s services and the existing dynamic between TRA and its customer cities (regarding pretreatment services). We go into PFAS, what PFAS is, how it affects us, and the regulatory timeline that has sparked proactive initiatives from TRA. These proactive initiatives are described, among which is the PFAS Survey, the main focus of our presentation. The presentation includes details about the contents of the PFAS Survey and how we delivered it to facilities. Then, we went through how GIS helped us filter out a majority of the non-applicable facilities from the large facility list we received from our mailing list provider. We used internal GIS data and external zoning maps from customer cities to carry out this filtering process. The challenges we encountered and future hopes for the results of our PFAS Survey are presented as the concluding portion. |

| The Texas Penal Code establishes law enforcement zones where weapon, drug, or gang crimes receive enhanced punishment. The zones are based on proximity to things like schools, playgrounds, daycare centers, and more. In order to include these zones during prosecution it's important to show what zone is being invoked and how it was derived. I'll show the process for making the basic GDG Free Zone map as well as the Arcade coding involved in the online reference map officers can use to verify into which zones a crime scene may fall. |

| NCTCOG has generated the Small Area Estimates for several years, and the employment portion of this data product has always been a particular challenge. Tremendous manual effort plus new data sources are creating an opportunity for tremendous savings in staff time and effort in generating this data. |

| I started using my drone to document wildfire damage in Farmersville and was successful at creating layouts from my imagery with basic manual georeferencing to place the imagery on ArcGIS Pro. Since then, I have found a couple of inexpensive programs that when used together can create 3D maps and ortho-mosaics with a couple clicks and a bit of patience with my old computer. This presentation will cover the previously mentioned wildfire mapping and some other “just for fun” projects that I’m currently working on. |
