FY21 Grant Application Information
The Office of the Governor's Public Safety Office - Criminal Justice Division (CJD) administers federal and state funding to local, regional and statewide criminal justice-related projects. CJD's goals are to support programs that protect people from crime, reduce the number of crimes committed, and promote accountability, efficiency, and effectiveness for the criminal justice system.
The following are grant application categories coordinated by NCTCOG's Criminal Justice Program.
General Victim Assistance Grant Program
The purpose of this funding is to provide services and assistance directly to victims of crime to speed their recovery and aid them through the criminal justice process.

Violence Against Women Justice and Training Program
The purpose of this funding is for projects that promote a coordinated, multi-disciplinary approach to improving the justice system’s response to violent crimes against women, including domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking.

Juvenile Justice & Truancy Prevention Grant Program
The purpose of this funding is to support projects that prevent violence in and around school; and to improve the juvenile justice system by providing mental health services, truancy prevention and intervention through community-based and school programs.

Criminal Justice Program (Justice Assistance Grant [JAG] Program)
The purpose of this funding is to promote public safety, reduce crime, and improve the criminal justice system.
