Regional Electronics Recycling Contract
In 2019, NCTCOG released a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit vendors that could provide electronics recycling services to the region. In 2023, at the conclusion of the original agreements, NCTCOG released another RFP under the direction of the Resource Conservation Council. Two companies (Electronic Recyclers International and United Electronic Recycling) have been awarded Master Services Agreements, servicing electronics recycling within the North Central Texas region for preliminary three-year term. At the end of this term, vendors will be given the opportunity to renew their contract for two additional one-year periods. As vendors suitably participate in competitive pricing, they will provide services for permanent facilities, one-day events, drop-off of recyclables at the vendor’s facility, and asset disposition.
